The fifth edition will return to Europe for only the 2nd time in the series – due to be recorded in Vienna over the summer. The PLAY! series has provided a unique platform Oliver Huntemann – allowing him to showcase the tight, nuanced techno and tech-house sounds that he’s pioneered over the last two decades. The series began in Brazil in 2007, and has followed the highly effective format of a live recording of Oliver performing at some of the most iconic clubs in the greatest cities of the world. Having already taken in D-Edge (Sao Paulo), Rex Club (Paris), Cielo (New York) and Roxanne Parlour (Melbourne) – Oliver plans to bring PLAY! 05 from Grelle Forelle in the Austrian capital. Grelle Forelle has established itself as one of the top clubs in Europe over the last 3 years, and will provide the perfect environment for Oliver’s musical journey. The recording of the set will, as with previous editions, be released as a 2 CD mix, as well as being available for download. In keeping with the other releases in the series, an exclusive ‘Vienna EP’ of new productions will accompany the release. The PLAY! series allows the Senso boss to provide a snapshot of his current musical direction, including upcoming and exclusive material from his new label. What is for sure is that PLAY! 05 will reveal an artist at the height of his powers, continuing to rock dance-floors and home listeners alike through his innate ability to create tightly constructed, perfectly balanced sets. PLAY! 05 live in Vienna will be released in September on Senso and will be accompanied by a special tour.
